Blind slats have various applications:

• Resting surfaces for piglets in farrowing, nursery, and wean to finish (all models), isolating them from the gases coming from the pits and the air currents that affect them so much. At the same time, they insulate thermally and are the ideal surface on which to project sources of radiant heat.
• Resting surface for farrowing sows (only SLA0F80, sow slats 60x40cm). Installed under the front of the farrowing crate it is an ideal lying surface, soft with good grip, minimizing problems with shoulder ulcers and teat damage.
• Under hoppers and feeders to collect the leftover feed in case of poor regulation.
• To cover corridors that are used to channel air as part of the climate control system.
