Connect the electric fence energizer 333 MB5 to the fence and also to the ground connection

• Locate the energizer's output panel.
• Connect the positive (red) cable to the red “fence-line” socket.
• Connect the negative cable (black) to the black socket of the “ground-connection”
• Connect the other end of the black wire to the ground rod and the spring of the red wire to any point on the positive wires on the fence.

Turn on the electric fence energizer 333 MB5

• Locate the power switch located on the Control Panel.
• Place the on/off switch in the “ON” position.
• The speed switch (“I or II”) is used to select pulse intervals (time elapsed between pulses). Position I generates a slow interval and position II a fast interval.
• Both in position I and in position II, the output power is the same, with only the frequency of the interval varying.

Functions of the electric fence energizer 333 MB5 voltmeter

• The voltmeter is activated when the on/off switch is in the “ON” position, marking the current state of the battery.
• When the energizer is disconnected from the mains, and the voltmeter indicates 12V, it means that the battery is 100% charged.
• Before the voltmeter indicates 8V, it is recommended to recharge the battery.
• The energizer will automatically shut down to prevent battery deterioration when the voltmeter drops below 7V.
• To obtain a true reading, disconnect the energizer from the mains, place the power switch in the “ON” position, and wait a few seconds.

How to connect the 12V battery to the electric fence energizer 333 MB5

• Connect the cable jack to the base of the energizer, always with the energizer turned off (On/Off switch in the “0-Off” position).
• Then connect the red spring clip to the positive (+) battery terminal and the metal spring clip to the negative (-) battery terminal.
• The last step is to connect the charger to a 230V mains.
• The MB5 model can also work on the mains, but the power supply must be purchased separately.
