Description

Formulated to solve the problem of the limited spectrum and limited activity issues of other disinfectants, Virkon^® S achieves deactivation and destruction of the target organism through a broad spectrum and non-selective range of oxidation reactions.

Unlike other disinfectant chemistries, such as aldehydes, Virkon^® S does not exert a specific toxicological effect on the target organism and is proven to kill pathogens in seconds.

Independently tested against over 100 strains of viruses, 400 strains of bacteria, and 60 strains of fungi and yeast.

Biodegradable surface disinfectant.

Its high biosecurity is due to the fact that its inorganic compounds, 75% of its total, disintegrate naturally in the environment, forming simple inorganic salts. Its organic compounds, the rest of its composition, are certified by the OECD and the EU as rapidly biodegradable.

How to use

• Determine the volume of disinfectant solution needed with the appropriate dilution rate.
• Measure the appropriate amount of Virkon™ S powder to obtain the desired dilution rate.
• Add Virkon™ S powder to water and shake vigorously to dissolve.
• If a pressure washer and other mechanical sprayer are used, the application rate of the Virkon™ S solution should be 300 ml/m².
• All surfaces should be cleaned and allowed to dry before disinfection.
